emma lost her first tooth last sunday. her big teeth had grown in behind her two front baby teeth and they had become quite loose. big daddy suggested that she tie one to the doorknob and slam the door. aunt beliza's superhero knotting did the trick and she slammed it herself. i love that joy as blood is gushing from her open gums. all she wanted was that toothfairy money. she woke everyone up the next morning at 6am when she found her tooth was replaced by some money and a note and announced that we were going to a candy store (not just any candy store- one we went to almost a year ago that is almost an hour away). we went. am i a sucker or what?
