I love the kids' costumes, especially the cool fabric for Emma's froggy. (Parenthetical note: yes, I did make Jimmy's frog costume. I had wanted to use some shiny fabric similar to yours but it gets way too cold in Ellensburg, so I went with fleece.)
But wait a minute... am I correct in understanding that this is it for your blog? Are you not going to blog anymore? What's up????
yes, sorry. i know it's lame of me because i love catching up on other people's blogs but it just doesn't fit in my life anymore. to busy with kids and other projects. i don't get much free time and realized i'd rather do something else with it.
Lyd, that is so NOT fair, considering I started a blog just for you! I guess you will have to use that extra time sending me personalized emails with pictures of your kids, and info about all the great mommy stuff you do....Looking forward to those;)
i protest. let's face it...who ISN'T too busy to blog?? i only do it cause i have no other way to pretend people i love are a part of the details of my world... come on, lyd, we're on opposite coasts...please, give me an update w/ a couple pics once a month. things change too fast. if you quit your blog i'm gonna have to sign up for a richard simmons cruise to overcome my depression, dangyou.
sorry g. look on the bright side- now i'll really guilt myself into making and sending off kaede's welcome to earth gift. stop hating me. i just can't do it anymore- it's like "ohh, aren't i wonderful? tell me i'm great" when really i'm quite ordinary. it feels like a pretend identity when i really need to be 150% focused on what is happening with my family right now, how can i make tomorrow go smoother, how can i decrease my distance from God. these are the only things i can wrap my brain around at the moment- or even attempt to keep track of. i'm recentering my life.
Lydia, I will miss the great photos and your wry sense of humor, but I understand why you're doing it. And good for you, clearing off your plate when you're feeling overwhelmed. It's a smart woman who is strong enough to simplify and do what's best for herself and her family.
thanks katie! i'm glad i tried it. for one thing- i've come to develop a friendship with you that i don't think would have come about otherwise- we just don't see each other enough. but blogging with you, i feel like we've actually spent a lot of time together. it's been really nice.

and emma's costume doesn't even compare to the jimmy costume- that is AMAZING!

I understand what you mean, Lyd. But I hope you still keep me posted on stuff some other way. I've missed not seeing updates on your family and you.
