for over a year now, i've been making quilts as baby gifts. i love doing it because it is simple to sew and looks cool. my favorite part is the fabric hunt. it takes me a few months to find just the right thing. here's the one i made today and it just might be my favorite. big daddy's boss (or rather his wife) just had a baby girl named sophia josephine. i don't know the mom very well but i swear this is a perfect fit. so far, i have made all originals but i think i might duplicate this one.

Some day, when I have a girl, (which I still believe might just happen) you MUST make me one just like that. By the way....sophia josephine is EXACTLY what I want to name my daughter....what are the chances? Anyways, nice work, girl!
